Terms of Service

By using TapReview.nz or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Orders

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

TapReview cards must be linked to the Google review page provided by the customer. You are responsible for providing the correct business and review link information.

If the required Google review link is not supplied, we may contact you by email. If we do not receive the information needed to complete the order, the order may be cancelled and refunded.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where there has been a pricing error, suspected fraud, misuse, or another reasonable issue with the order.

Pricing

All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise.

Shipping charges and any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout where relevant.

Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Shipping

Processing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. TapReview is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, courier networks, weather, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Returns and Faulty Products

Unused products may be returned in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Once the protective backing has been removed from the 3M adhesive, the product is considered used and is not eligible for a change-of-mind refund.

Products that arrive damaged, broken, or faulty may need to be returned to TapReview for inspection. Where a return is required for a genuine fault, TapReview will cover the return shipping cost and provide a replacement where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law.

Product Use

TapReview cards are designed to provide convenient access to a business's selected online review page using NFC technology.

Device compatibility, NFC settings, internet availability, Google services, and other third-party services are outside TapReview's control.

TapReview does not guarantee:

  • a specific number of customer reviews

  • an increase in review ratings

  • a particular Google ranking

  • that every customer's device will interact with the product in the same way

Customers are responsible for using TapReview products in accordance with applicable laws and the terms of any third-party platform they direct customers to.

Google Disclaimer

TapReview is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with Google LLC.

Google, Google Reviews, and related trademarks and branding are the property of Google LLC and their respective owners.

TapReview does not control, guarantee, edit, or influence reviews submitted by customers.

Intellectual Property

TapReview branding, product designs, website content, images, graphics, and original materials may not be copied, reproduced, resold, or used commercially without permission.

Purchase of a TapReview product does not transfer ownership of any TapReview intellectual property.

Website Use

You must not use TapReview.nz to:

  • engage in unlawful or fraudulent activity

  • interfere with the operation or security of the website

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or information

  • copy or misuse website content

  • place fraudulent or misleading orders

We may restrict access to the website where necessary to protect TapReview, its customers, or its systems.

Third-Party Services

TapReview may rely on third-party services including Shopify, payment processors, couriers, Google services, and other providers.

We are not responsible for outages, changes, interruptions, or failures caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapReview is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time as TapReview's products, services, or website change.

The latest version published on TapReview.nz will apply from the date it is posted.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
